The CanBuy service fee is 15% of the converted product price. It is a CanBuy charge, not a government duty, and it covers import handling, customs clearance, exchange-rate protection between payment and purchase, and a quality check before the order ships.
Hong Kong is a free port, so there is no general import duty and no sales tax on groceries or household goods shipped from Canada. Duty applies only to liquor, tobacco, hydrocarbon oil and methyl alcohol.
Sea freight starts at HK$80 per consolidated order. Because orders are batched into one sailing, freight is shared rather than charged per parcel.
